Call for Katharina Windscheid Prize 2021

The Katharina Windscheid Prize is given to early career researchers in the Research Academy Leipzig who have written an outstanding dissertation under special life circumstances. In this way, we strive to promote gender equality and family-friendliness in research and also acknowledge additional challenges doctoral researchers have overcome during their doctoral studies. The prize is named after the first woman in Germany to receive a doctorate for her dissertation (Dr. phil.): Katharina Windscheid. She was instrumental in improving women’s access to higher education.
