Within the group of doctoral researchers, the members decided on a female double leadership: Luisa Klatte won the election with 47.5% of the votes, followed by Andrea Lösel (20.3%). Both will be members of the Board of the Graduate Academy Leipzig from 1 April 2024.
In the group of postdocs, the result was not quite as clear-cut: Angela Calderon and Anne Mareike Möller received the same number of votes. Anne Mareike Möller had more luck in the lottery and was appointed to the Board.
In total, 12.7% of the 495 eligible members voted. While the turnout among doctoral researchers was 13.3%, only 8% of postdocs voted.
We congratulate Luisa Klatte, Andrea Lösel and Anne Mareike Möller and look forward to working with them in the future.
