Science Slam: Curtain up for Science

At 8 pm, researchers from Leipzig University will present their research - in an easy-to-understand and entertaining way. The event will be held in German.

Coachings

Members of the Graduate Academy Leipzig can apply for a 75-minute individual coaching session.

Presentation of the doctoral thesis prizes of Leipzig University

All interested parties are welcome to attend the award ceremony at Villa Tillmanns, Wächterstraße 30, at 5 pm.

Workshops and coachings

Coaching

In a 75-minute individual coaching session, Dr. Cathleen Heil works with you on new decision-making, setting boundaries, dealing with uncertainties and expectations as well as on self-management. For members only!

Our workshops on November 12 at Villa Tillmanns:

9am - 3pm: Ist die Promotion der richtige Weg für mich?

Support for decision-making with self-exploration and exchange with other doctoral researchers (in German).

10 - 12am: First Steps in Working With Data: From Loading Data to Analysis and Beyond

In this workshop we demonstrate what working with data looks like in practice and provide space for questions.

1.15 - 2.45pm: Ein Exposé für Ihr Promotionsvorhaben verfassen

In the workshop, we will discuss the function, structure and general requirements of an exposé (in German).

12.15am - 3pm: Your Doctorate at Leipzig University: Get Off to a Good Start!

Unfortunately, the workshop has to be postponed due to illness.

Become a member of the Graduate Academy Leipzig

All doctoral researchers at Leipzig University can become members of the Graduate Academy Leipzig and thus take advantage of our wide range of offers. Prerequisites are a supervision agreement and an entry on a doctoral candidate list.
